Review: Motorola V3 Razr

This is a quad band, clam shell GSM cell phone. The main features would be its super slim form factor and very classy looks. Apart from that it has the usual features that all mobiles today have like PIM functionality, Bluetooth, JAVA games, a VGA camera, speakerphone, SMS, EMS, MMS, video recording in 3gp format, mp3 player, GPRS, iTAP predictive text input, 8 MB internal memory and polyphonic ring tones.

This is a cool phone. It isn’t much in terms of entertainment but its a cool phone if a phone is what you wanted in the first place. 8 MB internal memory means that you really can’t put in much in the form of images or songs, plus there is no external card slot. It doesn’t have a radio either, but radio channels in Mumbai suck anyway.
The best thing about this phone is the voice clarity. The voice of the caller is dependent on the quality of the callers microphone but my voice will be absolutely clear. I could be standing in the middle of a parade but still my voice would get to the caller with absolute clarity. Looks wise, its possibly the best looking phone available. After this I can only think of buying a PDA. Other cell phones are just not good looking enough. Recently, of course, Samsung has released the Ultra range that I think look pretty cool.
