There is no denying that the 7" size combined with the widescreen layout is the way to go. I for one an tired of the black bands on the iPad while watching movies.

The Reign of the 7 inch Tablets

It’s finally happening. Common sense and practicality is clearing the fog caused by the introduction of a ground breaking device by Apple in April 2010. The iPad came in only one screen size; 9.7 inches. The device became the mould in which all other tablets began to be made. Then in November 2010,...

Review: Capdase Bluetooth Keyboard

The utility of the iPad as a creation tool goes up drastically with the addition of an external keyboard. The on screen keyboard is very good and typing on it is easy, but not comfortable. This is mainly due to the fact that you are typing on a screen which has no “give”. You are banging...

Review: Samsung GT-I8350 (Omnia W)

After a lot of research and self convincing, I moved from my Android to Windows Phone 7. My device of choice was the Samsung Omnia W i8350. Why I didn’t pick up one of the Nokia devices was mostly because of the Omnia’s 1.4 ghz processor, the Super AMOLED display and a decent front facing...

While waiting for a flight a few days ago, I finally got to play with the new Nokia Lumia 800. This was a phone that was on my list of devices to try. First Impression: Lenovo G550

I got my new laptop a few days ago. The Lenovo G550. I bought this laptop after a lot of research. My budget was south of INR 25000. This didn’t give me as many options as you would have with laptops in between INR 30k to 35k. Some of the other laptops that I disqualified were the Samsung R528 (because...

Long Term Review: Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 with Android 2.1

I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Spica since February 2010. Samsung officially upgraded the original Android 1.6 to 2.1 in May 2010, and I have been using 2.1 on my Spica since then. This is a follow-up post to my previous post on the Spica when I first got it. My Spica is now running 2.1, and I...

Sony Alpha 300 Sensor Cleaning

For the last couple of months I have had to do a lot of cloning and fixing of most of the day time photos that I have shot due to dust stuck to the sensor of my Sony A300. I spend a lot of time post processing for dust specs removal to otherwise perfectly good images. The reason that I have so much dust...
